Version 1.4 for Windows released

I am happy to announce that Version 1.4 of Matrix Writer for Windows is released and ready for download. Main changes Use the matrix-ui style defination, this make Matrix Writer GUI looks more consistance and comfortable.  Optimize welcome layout. Improve performance. Optimize dark theme, it will comfort your eyes in the evening. Fixed defects. 

Insert images from Google Drive

Google Drive is a free and very popular cloud drive, once you have a google account, you will have 15G google drive, it is stable and reliable, google drive is one of my personal favorite cloud drives. With the 15G space we can store a lot of photos, videos and other files. Google drive also allow you share your resources to certain people or to the public. I like to use google drive store my photos, when I write a post I want to insert the photo I already have in my google drive, the good thing of this way is the photo insert to the post is just link, so it is pretty fast to publish your post to th e blog service, manage photos on google drive is easier than most blog services, normally this is true. The only drawback is once you use the photo in google drive, you should never remove the photo from google drive, otherwise your post will not show as you expect. Insert images to your post

    It is very common to insert images to your post to make your post attract user eyes. Matrix Writer allow you insert images quickly and also provide convenience features to layou your pictures. Insert local images To insert images into your post, there are two ways Quick way is click the "Add Images" button in the toolbar Click "Picture" under "Insert" menu After that the insert image dialog will popup as below, click "Choose local file" button, a file browser will popup, after confirm the dialog, the thumbnails of selected images will show in the dialog. Click OK button will insert these images to your post.  Move the mouse hover over a thumbnail, the image information will show up, here you can see the file name and file size, click the trash button will remove it from current selection.  Insert images from web By clicking "Image Link" you can insert a image from the internet, copy the url of image and paste it the source input box...

Matrix Writer V1.1 released

Social medias are hot and very hot! Social medias, Facebook, Twitter, Google+ etc have became a part of many people's life. Publish one post to multiple accounts

There is an old theory that don't put all your eggs into one basket, of course this is primary for safty. I agree this theory. Originally I used Microsoft Space for my blog, unfortunatelly Microsoft closed the blog service, even Microsoft provide tools to migrate post from Space to other blog services, but behind the planet famous national firewall, we didn't have many options, WordPress is blocked, Blogger is blocked.... After that I like to publish my posts to different blog services to make it more safe, of course it also help you become famous from the search engine. So, Matrix Writer supports publish posts to multiple accounts with one click! First you need have multiple blog accounts, no matter they come from one blog service or different blog services, your accounts are list under the Blog Account pane, account is displayed with format "blog name (blog service name)", for exampe from Figure-1, "Matrix Writer (WordPress)" this is Matrix Writer official...

Set post properties before publish

Most of the blog services support common post properties, the most common properties are Category setting, Tag setting, Publish Date. Matrix Writer allow set these properties from the side pane.  When show the side pane the Pst Settings is expand by default. Category Categories of current default blog account will be list under Category, Click "+" you will see Figure-2 to add new Category. Check the category/categories to publish post to this category/categories. Figure-1 Figure-2 Tag Input tags in the Tag input box and separate comman ",". Publish Date By default the publish date is the date you create your post, most blog service support setting the publish date, so you can set it as past or future.  Happy Blogging!
