Create or edit a post
In Matrix Writer Create a post is very straightforward.
After you connect Matrix Writer to one of your blog accounts, your blog accounts will list in My Blogs pane, the blog account marked with a heart icon is you default blog account, by default Matrix Writer will use this account publish your post. To change your default account, click the "show more" button to display the menu for selected blog account, click "Set as default" to make this blog account as your default account.
There are two ways to create a new post.
- Click the "Write a new post" button in Quick Start pane, this will use default account to create a new post.
- Click "Show more" button" of a blog account, in the dropdown menu, click "New Post", this will use this selected account to create a new post.
You post will be list in Posts pane, in this you can see the post title and modified date of your post, by click the Edit button right, you can edit selected post. Click the trash button to delete this post.
After you create or edit an existing post, you will see the post editor as below.
- Home button will bring you back to welcome screen. Click hamburg button will show/hide post setting pane.
- Post title input area
- Publish post button
- Post info area, currently it show the words count of current post
- Post setting pane, here you can set category, tag properties
- Blog account pane, here list all your blog accounts, you can select which account you want publish this post to
- Share pane, here list the social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter) you have, you select a social account, Matrix Writer will share your post to the social account.
- Toolbar area to edit content format.
- Content edit area.
