Google Drive is a free and very popular cloud drive, once you have a google account, you will have 15G google drive, it is stable and reliable, google drive is one of my personal favorite cloud drives. With the 15G space we can store a lot of photos, videos and other files. Google drive also allow you share your resources to certain people or to the public. I like to use google drive store my photos, when I write a post I want to insert the photo I already have in my google drive, the good thing of this way is the photo insert to the post is just link, so it is pretty fast to publish your post to th e blog service, manage photos on google drive is easier than most blog services, normally this is true. The only drawback is once you use the photo in google drive, you should never remove the photo from google drive, otherwise your post will not show as you expect.     It is very common to insert images to your post to make your post attract user eyes. Matrix Writer allow you insert images quickly and also provide convenience features to layou your pictures. Insert local images To insert images into your post, there are two ways Quick way is click the "Add Images" button in the toolbar Click "Picture" under "Insert" menu After that the insert image dialog will popup as below, click "Choose local file" button, a file browser will popup, after confirm the dialog, the thumbnails of selected images will show in the dialog. Social medias are hot and very hot! Social medias, Facebook, Twitter, Google+ etc have became a part of many people's life. There is an old theory that don't put all your eggs into one basket, of course this is primary for safty. I agree this theory. Originally I used Microsoft Space for my blog, unfortunatelly Microsoft closed the blog service, even Microsoft provide tools to migrate post from Space to other blog services, but behind the planet famous national firewall, we didn't have many options, WordPress is blocked, Blogger is blocked.... After that I like to publish my posts to different blog services to make it more safe, of course it also help you become famous from the search engine. So, Matrix Writer supports publish posts to multiple accounts with one click! Most of the blog services support common post properties, the most common properties are Category setting, Tag setting, Publish Date. Matrix Writer allow set these properties from the side pane.  When show the side pane the Pst Settings is expand by default. Category Categories of current default blog account will be list under Category, Click "+" you will see Figure-2 to add new Category. Publish Date By default the publish date is the date you create your post, most blog service support setting the publish date, so you can set it as past or future.  Happy Blogging!  

In Matrix Writer Create a post is very straightforward. After you connect Matrix Writer to one of your blog accounts, your blog accounts will list in My Blogs pane, the blog account marked with a heart icon is you default blog account, by default Matrix Writer will use this account publish your post. To change your default account, click the "show more" button to display the menu for selected blog account, click "Set as default" to make this blog account as your default account. There are two ways to create a new post. Click the "Write a new post" button in Quick Start pane, this will use default account to create a new post. Matrix Writer support WordPress and Google Blogger's RESTful API, that is the best way that these two blog services recommended. Before RESTful API, there are many blog service use XML-RPC as the primary way to allow third party tools publish posts to blog on behalf of user. Matrix Writer supports this XML-RPC as well.  Below is an example of using XML-RPC connect to your WordPress blog. It's same for other blog services which support XML-RPC. There are plugins for WordPress to disable XML-RPC, by default XML-RPC is enabled for WordPress user, please make sure your XML-RPC options is enabled before your start below steps.  1. I am glad and suprised that Matrix Writer was reviewd by Softpedia, the original article is not too long, basically Matrix Writer got positive comments, that make me happy and encourage me to do more to make Matrix Writer better.  The only downside is the editor think Matrix Writer only support WordPress and Google Blogger, this is not exactly true, Matrix Writer supports WordPress and Google Blogger by its RESTful API, this is the most efficient and secure way for these two blog service. It was not that easy as I imaged to publish Matrix Writer to Mac App Store. This is my first time to submit an app to Mac App Store, need to get familar with apple's GUI design guidelines, appreparently it is different with windows application GUI design guideline. App also requires sign the app and with correct property configuration. Submit, verify, rejected, modify, back and forth many times, it was really frustrated time. I have to say Apple app store response quickly and very careful review my app - Matrix Writer, they do find out some issues, they are nice explain app store rules to me. Evently, I published Matrix Writer to the store.  After quite a few weeks hard work on making Matrix Writer compilance Microsoft Windows Store, Matrix Writer has been published to Windows store successfully, use this address  https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/store/p/matrix-writer/9wzdncrdqfnh  to install Matrix Writer in Windows 10. Today the build of Matrix Writer for CentOS 7 is released, you can download it from Matrix Writer home page, there are 32-bit and 64-bit build, please select the right version to download for your platform, so far the download is a compress package, you need unzip it, then run MatrixWriter from the unzip folder. Matrix Writer for CentOS is tested in CentOS 7, CentOS 6.x is not supported. Because CentOS and RedHat share the same kernel, in theory Matrix Writer should be able support the latest version of Red Hat, unfortunately I am not able to test Matrix Writer on Red Hat. Matrix Writer provide the same user experience as Windows and Mac OS.  Happy blogging!

Currently Matrix Writer support WordPress, Google Blogger and blog services which supports Metaweblog API, you need make sure that your blog service is supported by Matrix Writer.
